Riverview School District

“Grab and Go” Meals Program Expands

Free Meal Kits Available for Pre-Order | Pick-Ups Begin December 1

The Riverview School District Food Services Team has provided "Grab and Go" meals each weekday, for all students 18 years of age and under in our school district boundaries, since the beginning of the school year. We are happy to introduce a second option for receiving free meals. In addition to the daily “Grab and Go” meals available each morning, families can now pre-order free multiple-day Meal Kits.

NOTE: You must pre-order meal kits to receive them. No exceptions.

These new Meal Kits will be available on Tuesdays and Fridays and include breakfast and lunch items for several days at a time. On Tuesdays, meal kits will provide items for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Fridays, the meal kits will provide items for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Meal Kits will be available for pickup at Carnation Elementary or Cedarcrest High School on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

There are now two options available to receive free meals:

Grab and Go Daily Meals will continue to be distributed each school day, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Carnation Elementary, Cedarcrest High School, Cherry Valley Elementary, the Duvall Highlands MHC, and Stillwater Elementary.

Families are strongly encouraged to pre-order “Grab and Go” meals through Riverview’s “Engage” website, the Riverview School District website, or the Skooler LMS platform.

Meal Kits pick-ups will begin on December 1, 2020 and Pre-Orders are Required.

To complete the Meal Kit Pre-Order form, please click below, and choose “Meal Kit” on the left side of the page.

All children 18 years or age or younger may pick up a meal for themselves, or a parent/guardian may pick up for each child in their household.

Families have the option of choosing either “Grab and Go” daily meals or multi-day Meal Kits. Federal regulations do not allow a family to pick up both daily meals and meal kits.

Our Food Services team will continue serving meals at all locations, following all CDC guidelines and Health Department recommendations for safety protocols, including wearing face coverings, gloves, and maintaining physical/social distancing regulations.

If you have any questions regarding the “Grab and Go” meals program or new Meal Kits, please contact Food Services through the Engage website (stayengaged@rsd407.org).
