Riverview School District Releases
Draft Reopening FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Guide

As we continue to work on developing our DRAFT Reopening Plan, for the phased-in return of our elementary students and families, the Riverview School District has released a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) guide, now available on the Engage website, addressing Reopening questions we have received through our elementary family and staff surveys, social media, our Engage email account and hotline, as well as our Riverview Reopening Advisory Committee, labor organizations, and families.

The FAQ, uploaded this afternoon, will continue to be updated frequently and has information regarding Reopening, Logistics and Planning, Health and Safety, Remote and In-Person, Childcare, Transportation, and Food Services.

As we continue to analyze plans, our DRAFT Reopening Plan is based on a variety of factors as guidance can change at any time from Public Health - Seattle & King County (PHSKC), the Governor’s Office, and/or the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).

Elementary Family Survey Reminder/Deadline

Families are invited to complete the elementary survey, and/or update their responses, based on the information provided in the newly released FAQ. The elementary survey closes at 11:59 P.M. on Monday, October 12, 2020.
