Introducing Molly Lutz
Riverview’s New Administrator Wears Many Hats

The Riverview School District is pleased to welcome and introduce Molly Lutz to the Riverview community.

Hired in June 2016, Lutz joins the District in a multi-hyphenate role, serving as the new Principal of the Eagle Rock Multi-Age Program and as the new Assistant Director of Student Services. Additionally, she has been added to the team of Riverview’s Professional Learning Leaders (PLL’s), with a focus on special education, as she provides assistance and job-embedded coaching across the district.

And while that may seem like a lot to take on right out of the gate, Lutz has always been a skilled multi-tasker. She has devoted much of her professional career working with special education students, both at the elementary and secondary level, while earning her Masters of Arts in Special Education from Antioch University McGregor and her Administrative Leadership Certification from Seattle Pacific University in 2015. She arrives at Riverview after spending eight years in the Snoqualmie Valley School District, where she managed students in a self-contained classroom environment.

“From her very first day on the job, Molly has jumped in quickly and is most definitely an asset to the district,” shares Dr. Ken Heikkila, Riverview’s Director of Student Services. “The expertise and experience she brings in the area of special education will be a strong support to staff working with students with disabilities. In her multiple district roles, Molly is excellent in multitasking and providing exceptional follow through.”

Lutz voiced her enthusiasm for taking this new journey with Riverview.

“It is my privilege to be joining the talented staff within the Riverview School District. As I embark upon my administrative responsibilities, I am pleased to have an opportunity that offers such diversity. I look forward to assisting with the ongoing development of a high quality educational community as Riverview School District continues to strive to be a national model of educational excellence through the education of children.”

Join us in welcoming Molly Lutz as the new principal of Eagle Rock Multi-Age, as a member of our Student Services team, and as a professional learning leader in the district.
