Riverview receives $5,000 grant from the City of Duvall
Jeffrey Possinger (right), past major of Duvall and current city councilman, presented a $5,000 grant check from the City of Duvall to the Riverview School District at the February 14th School Board meeting. It was accepted on behalf of the district by Board President, Phil Gore (left).
The grant provides an additional bus one day per week for TMS Middle School students to ride home to Duvall from after school activities. In addition, the grant provides funding for needy students to pay for Tolt Middle School and Cedarcrest High School activity participation fees.
